Store operating hours for La Familia’s Florida locations are as follows, effective Sunday March 29, 2020 and until further notice:

Miami area stores –

•Mon- Fri 9AM – 7PM

•Saturday 9AM – 6PM

•Sundays 9AM - 2PM (760 NW 79th Street, Miami)

•Sundays 9AM - 6PM (1823 NW 79th St, Miami)

West Palm store –

•Mon- Fri 9AM-7PM

•Saturday 9AM-6PM

•Sunday 11AM - 4PM

Central Florida stores –

•Mon-Fri 9AM-7PM

•Saturday 9AM-6PM

•Sunday 11PM-4PM

*Please check with your local store to verify they will be open prior to traveling to the store on Sundays

Store operating hours will depend on the health and availability of the staff, the health and safety of the customers and the local environment.

La Familia offers a fantastic way to make payments without having to visit the store using our La Familia App.

The La Familia Pawn APP is available for Android and iPhone and can be downloaded by clicking on the link below:


・First of all, you can have peace of mind that your items are safe.

・Secondly, we do not want any of our customers to feel that they must leave the safety of their homes to come to our stores before the Social Distancing Order is removed.

・Third, the forfeit date of all loans and layaways that are scheduled to be due during the Social Distancing period will be delayed.

So, if you have an item that expires, don’t worry right now! Simply contact your store for more information and options available to you.

That said, if you feel that redeeming your loan is absolutely necessary or that you are in need of obtaining a loan or extension, you can visit us following the safety standards established by the Centers for Disease Control and our Federal, State and Local government agencies.

We ask all our customers to follow the Social Responsibility rules below when visiting our stores. This will help us provide an exceptional, healthy and a convenient customer experience!

 Before visiting us

La Familia Pawn and Jewelry will open primarily to provide financial loans or pawn services.

We will provide sales service for jewelry or other products of urgent need but unfortunately, we cannot allow browsing in our stores in order to keep social gathering to a minimum.

Customers do NOT need to enter the store to extend a loan, we have alternate payment options like La Familia Pawn App which allow you to do so remotely.

Please don't visit us if you're sick, have a cough, fever or don't feel well. Call us and we will work something out to be able to service you.

Please leave your children at home in order to keep social gathering to a minimum and minimize exposure for your children.

 What to do when you visit us

Bring your patience. You may have to wait in line outside vs inside the store during busy times.

・Practice good social distancing – allow 6 feet of separation between you and others at all times.

  ‣ When you are outside, stay 6 feet away from anyone else.

  ‣ When you are inside, stay 6 feet away from anyone else and consider 

     the ribbon marks on our floor to stay separate when you are in the store.

Please follow the instructions of the person who is attending you.

We will only allow one customer per family to enter the store at a time.

・Please do not rest or touch the counter or other items in the store.

・If you are making a purchase, please ask store personnel to help you locate the item and allow them to handle and demonstrate the item for you.


Loans can ONLY be redeemed at the store where you originally processed the loan.

If your loan has expired during this period and you would like to keep your items, and you are unable to visit the store, La Familia offers many options to contact us for help.
